Senior Go Developer (Blockchain / Wallet Infrastructure)

All Сurrent Vacancies DevOps

About the Company:

Our client is building crypto cards with instant crypto-to-fiat conversion. The product is currently launching in Europe, with expansion to the US and LATAM markets in the pipeline.

The company is at an early but highly active stage of development: first partners are already onboard, there is an international pipeline, and a clear vector for scaling. The project was founded by entrepreneurs with strong backgrounds in tech and finance. The business is privately funded and not dependent on the venture cycle, which allows the team to focus on product, architecture, and sustainable growth.

The team is being built as a small but strong engineering core - without unnecessary bureaucracy and with a high degree of ownership for each member. The current team consists of 4 engineers, 2 QAs, and a System Analyst.

Why this is interesting:

  • Opportunity to build blockchain/payment infrastructure essentially from scratch.
  • A real fintech/crypto product with international scaling.
  • Complex engineering challenges around transaction reliability, wallet infrastructure, and money movement systems.
  • High level of influence on architecture and technical decisions without layers of bureaucracy.
  • A small senior team where every engineer directly impacts the product.

About the role:

The main focus of the role is integrations with USDT on the Tron / TRC-20 network: event indexing, transaction submission, wallet management, transaction lifecycle, and recovery scenarios - all critical to the consistency of the system in production.

In the future, the development of a proprietary smart contract is possible, so an understanding of smart contract design, auditing, and operation principles is important, as well as the ability to evaluate architectural decisions from the perspective of a backend/integration engineer.

What you will do:

  • Build blockchain infrastructure for crypto cards with international payments.
  • Develop Go services for working with Tron / TRC-20: transaction processing, event indexing, wallet management.
  • Design the wallet layer: hot/cold wallets, key management, transaction lifecycle.
  • Solve complex production challenges: stuck transactions, missed events, recovery flows, consistency, and reliability of money flows.
  • Participate in product architecture at the intersection of crypto, fiat, and card processing.
  • Influence technical decisions and the development of the company's blockchain direction.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of commercial backend development experience in Go and experience working with SOA / microservice architectures.
  • Production experience integrating with blockchain (ideally Tron/TRC-20, EVM is also acceptable) and an understanding of blockchain transaction lifecycle, wallet infrastructure, and reliability/recovery scenarios.
  • Experience designing reliable systems for fintech / transaction-heavy products.
  • Confident experience with PostgreSQL, NATS, gRPC, Redis.
  • Understanding of smart contract architecture and security basics is a plus.
  • Willingness to take ownership, quickly get up to speed with new integrations, and actively participate in technical decision-making.
  • Use of AI tools in daily development.

Tech stack:

Go • PostgreSQL • NATS • gRPC • Redis • Tron • TRC-20 • TronGrid • TronWeb • Blockchain indexing • Wallet Infrastructure

Conditions:

  • Fully remote: work from anywhere in the world with a comfortable time overlap with the team (approximately 10:00–16:00 Cyprus time).
  • Competitive compensation with flexible payment options, including crypto.
  • Possibility of official employment through the company's legal entity in Dubai or Cyprus; B2B contract is also an option.
  • Health insurance from day one.
  • Work in a team of senior engineers, where speed of thinking, ownership, and engineering maturity are valued.
  • High decision-making speed: minimum processes for the sake of processes, maximum impact on product and architecture.
