Our client scaled from zero to a $1B+ valuation and is now building an AI-native operating layer that keeps fast-growing companies aligned as they scale. Sales run out of the US, with the GTM team based in Europe. They're hiring their first marketing hire — a Founding Marketing Engineer who builds the function from scratch, with AI agents doing the heavy lifting on outbound, the site, lead scoring, and reporting instead of a traditional team. It's a direct-access role, reporting straight to the founders, with real budget behind it to test hypotheses.
What makes it worth a look:
First marketing hire, full ownership of how the function gets built
AI-native by design: agentic workflows for outbound, site, research, and reporting
Direct line to the founders, no layers to clear
Meaningful budget for experimentation
0.5% equity with vesting, the main upside of the role sits here rather than in base pay
What we're looking for:
B2B background (not B2C), familiar with the US market
Real, hands-on experience running AI and agentic workflows in marketing
Comfortable owning the whole process solo, using agencies and contractors as an extension of their own work
Fluent English and Russian
Open to US working hours
Key responsibilities:
Own pipeline generation and support sales through to closed deals
Shape positioning, messaging, and the site, built and run through AI
Set up and test AI-driven outbound campaigns
Build ICP models, score leads, and enrich account data through agentic workflows
Run a weekly test-and-learn cycle across channels, tracking pipeline, conversion, and CAC
Working conditions:
Compensation structure: fixed + bonus
0.5% equity with vesting
Remote globally, schedule aligned with US hours, 8 am to 5 pm New York time (2 pm to 11 pm CET)
