We're looking for a Senior Finance Analyst to become the first key expert in the finance function of an AI-native fintech company building its own payment infrastructure for European merchants.
About the Company:
The company is a direct participant in international payment systems and is currently in the process of obtaining CBC (Cyprus) and FCA (UK) licenses. It is also exploring potential M&A / acquisition opportunities to accelerate its market entry.
The core focus is the launch of an EMI (Electronic Money Institution) and the development of a proprietary payment ecosystem.

What You’ll Be Working On:
You will operate at the intersection of finance, product, and infrastructure, including:
- Assessing the scalability readiness of the current payment infrastructure
- Defining financial and regulatory requirements (EMI / PSP)
- Participating in the launch and development of payment products
- Working with processing systems, payment gateways, and international payment networks
- Building financial models and unit economics
- Acting as a bridge between finance, product, and engineering
- Designing and establishing the finance function and key processes from scratch
Requirements:
Must-have:
- 3+ years of experience in fintech / payments industry
- Hands-on experience in acquiring (mandatory)
- Strong understanding of payment infrastructure (processing, core banking, fund flows)
- Knowledge of EMI / PSP regulations and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills (data-driven mindset, SQL)
- Experience building financial models
Nice-to-have:
- Experience working with high-risk segments
- Experience handling large transaction volumes
