This company is a German fintech startup founded in 2020. The company develops Embedded Finance technology for the European, American, and future global markets. With the company, you can integrate invoicing, document processing, and expense management functionalities. The company is funded by international investors. Currently, the product has already acquired 15 clients and is generating profits.

The product consists of three main components:

  1. Software that enables offering Invoicing or Bill Pay through an API and then integrating them for business clients.
  2. Payment system.
  3. Financial services will be available in 2023 to create an optimal user experience.

The company's Content and Communications team educates and inspires teams through storytelling. As a Content Writer, you'll join a small, passionate team that aims to attract, engage, and retain new users through compelling content.

Working across departments, you'll create top-notch content and expand organic reach. We seek a self-motivated, organized, and process-driven individual who is eager to tell captivating stories and adapt to producing content on a large scale.

What you will do:

  • Collaborate with the SEO expert to create SEO-friendly content, including blogs, guides, landing pages, product descriptions, title tags, and meta descriptions. Occasionally, utilize SEO tools to enhance content performance.
  • Maintain a customer-centric approach in all writing by actively learning about and empathizing with target audiences.
  • Manage multiple assignments each week, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Engage in cross-functional collaboration to develop and refine content, providing and receiving feedback.
  • Supervise the publishing of editorial content and coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to obtain necessary assets.
  • Incorporate customer insights and perspectives into content creation, aligning with their needs.
  • Conduct research on industry trends and best practices to generate content topics. Brainstorm ideas and support stakeholders and partners in transforming concepts into compelling stories.
  • Collaborate with SEO, product marketing, and design teams to strategize and prioritize content ideas, bringing them to fruition.
  • Interview subject matter experts and conduct research to develop relevant and valuable content.
  • Familiarize yourself with the company's brand story, voice, and tone to create on-brand and on-message content.
  • Enhance and optimize existing content based on search performance metrics.

Expertise & competencies requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience working in writing, editing, and content management.
  • Excellent written English.
  • Up-to-date portfolio.
  • Experience writing about finance, fintech, product management, or close topics is a plus.
  • Experience working with cross-functional partners, like designers, growth marketers, project managers, and subject matter experts.
  • Experience following a style guide and adapting writing to a company brand voice.
  • Experience working in a CMS, like WordPress or Contentful.
  • Experience using Google Analytics to measure content results.
  • Previous experience writing for SEO is a plus.
  • Online publishing or SaaS industry experience is a plus but not required.
